# NXTT The native currency of the Next Earth economy is NXTT. On January 27th, 2022 we issued 60B NXTT as a pre-minted, ERC-20 utility token on the Next Earth Launchpad. The majority of NXTT got locked under a vesting schedule, the majority of which we're planning to revest in the future. NXTT will be used to fuel the creation of the Metaverse of a Million Businesses as explained in Chapter 3 of this document.
